The short answer
Compare The Remote With The Wall Control
If the wall control operates the door but one remote does not, start with that remote’s battery, programming and physical condition. If every remote and keypad fails while the wall control works, check whether the opener’s lock or vacation mode is enabled.
If the wall control also fails, the issue may involve power, wiring, the opener logic board or the door itself. A broken spring or binding door can look like an opener problem because the motor cannot lift the load.
